Great Experience with Mr. Value Electricians
Rick - Flowery Branch, GA 30542
A coworker had recommended Mr. Value Electricians to me several years ago after they performed work on a house he was selling. I contacted them to install new lighting in our kitchen before we renovated the cabinets, counters and backsplash. Chris answered my call on my first try (not always my experience these days with contractors) and I was able to schedule an estimate visit with John on a Saturday no less. The overall experience was just so easy and stress free. Mr. Value was very respectful of our time and home... prompt, armed with boot covers to protect our floors, etc. We had several other projects we wanted to get quoted, and John itemized them all, including 2 options for one project, and let us pick and choose which to move forward on and which to hold for later. We decided to move forward with the lighting install (2 rows of 4 LED flush-mounted lights, plus 1 to replace an existing light in an adjacent hallway) and diagnosis on 3 different circuits that had been giving is some issues. On job day, John contacted me to let me know he was on the way, arrived promptly and started by covering our counters, appliances and floors with plastic. He was efficient and meticulous in the work, consulting with me on the exact placement of the lights, taking into account the aesthetics, location of the not yet installed new cabinets and functionality when working in the kitchen. When it came time to diagnose the circuits, John discussed in detail the issues we were having and determined 2 were normal for a house our age, and the other he checked and determined we had an outlet that was defective and needed replacement. The original quote was for 3 circuit diagnosis but because he was willing to get details on our issues, we only needed, and paid for, one. When all work was completed, he cleaned up everything, including sweeping our kitchen floor, and honestly left the place cleaning that he found it. We discussed the other projects and made plans to schedule those in the near future. This was a very positive experience, we've been working on a bathroom and kitchen remodel and in many cases could not get companies to return phone calls or respond to their online job request forms. Don't even get me started on supply chain excuses. I felt the estimates were fair and after the attention to detail John showed I know it was worth it... there is value in Mr. Value Electricians! Repeat customer in the making.

Scott - Flowery Branch, GA 30542
Nick performed a dock inspection as required by the US Army Corp. He replaced a failed breaker in the box. I really appreciate that he was flexible, giving me time to make a quick DIY fix needed before completing the inspection and signing off for the certificate. The rates were competitive and the work was professionally performed.
